Kasora End-User License Agreement
Effective date:
Kasora is a private application. Its owner (the “operator”) runs it for the operator’s own businesses. It is not offered to the public and is not sold. This agreement applies to everyone who uses it.
What Kasora does
Kasora stores the operator’s financial documents and records and produces reports for the operator’s accountant. It connects to QuickBooks Online (from Intuit) and to Zoho Books using OAuth 2.0, and only for companies the operator chooses to connect. Kasora does not prepare tax returns and does not give tax, legal or accounting advice.
License
Kasora may be used only by the operator and by people the operator authorizes, and only for the operator’s businesses. Each of them receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it, which the operator may revoke at any time. Access to Kasora may not be sold, sublicensed, lent or shared.
Connected accounting services
When a QuickBooks Online or Zoho Books company is connected, Kasora is given accounting access to it, which can read and write that company’s books. Kasora does not delete records in the books. What Kasora reads, and how it is kept and protected, is described in the Privacy Policy. Use of QuickBooks Online and Zoho Books remains governed by Intuit’s and Zoho’s own terms.
No warranty
Kasora is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Reports Kasora produces should be checked before they are relied on.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or revenue, arising from the use of Kasora or from being unable to use it. The operator’s total liability for any claim relating to Kasora is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100).
Ending use
You may stop using Kasora at any time. Disconnecting a company in Kasora’s settings, or revoking Kasora’s access in QuickBooks Online or Zoho Books, ends Kasora’s access to that company. The operator may suspend or end anyone’s use of Kasora at any time.
Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes
This agreement may be updated. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it last changed, and continuing to use Kasora after a change means accepting it.
Contact
Questions about this agreement can be directed to the operator through the contact details on file for the Kasora application with Intuit or Zoho.
